Introduction:
Take a step back in time and experience the cowboy way of life at our old time Cow Camp in the scenic Wet Mountains of Souther Colorado.

Description:
Three night packages include: lodging in a rustic log cabin, meals prepared over an open fire, and horseback riding through open pastures, streams, lush meadows, and heavily wooded areas.

Highlights:
Explore the gold mine that was active in the 1800's. Guests get to help fix fence, check and move cattle,tend to the horses, and help cook. and

Directions:
Cow Camp leaves from The Historic Pines Ranch. From COS, travel on 115 South 35 miles into Florence and turn LT at the light onto Hwy 67. Travel 11 miles to Stop sign and turn RT onto Hwy 96 West. Travel 26 miles to Westcliffe and turn RT onto Hwy 69 North. Travel 3/4 mile to Pines Road and turn LT. Travel 8 miles to the ranch. There are signs to the ranch from Pines Road up.

Guests will need to bring their own sleeping bags, warm clothes, washcloths and bath towels, as well as, personal items. Cow Camp is equipped with a solar shower and chemical toilet, however, there is no electricity, no phones, no TV and no traffic!
